Almost from the start of owning my 2022 Defender P300 u have noticed knocking pinging sounds after I shut off the engine. They aren’t incredibly loud but are certainly noticeable from the rear of the car. I’ve only put 93 octane gasoline in the engine and the car only has 3000 miles on it. I haven’t noticed any performance issues but wondering if anyone has any thoughts.

 

lt's most likely the exhaust cooling down, mine makes exactly the same sounds after shutting down the engine.
