My '03 Discovery 86k miles has started what sounds like a resonance coming from the engine. It varies from rpm to rpm, but seems most noticable if you crack the throttle reasonably hard. It is not constant or linear with engine speed ( changing pitch).

Ideas??

Do these trucks have heat shields et.c that can come loose??
