Default #5 Fuse under hood (40A) Cooling Fans ?

2003 Discovery II. In the fuse box under the hood my #5 fuse (40A) (Cooling Fans) was blown. Does anyone know what these cooling fans are and where they're located? I know it's not the blower motor. It may be the electric fan in front of the radiator which I'm thinking that's the A/C condenser fan. I didn't have a 40A so I replaced it with a 30A, started the engine (cold and didn't let it warm up to operating temp due to time restraints) and turned on the A/C but that fan did not come on.

Yes Ac condensing fan and it's also an auxiliary (@212 booster)
Probably your fan motor is on the way out.

I can spin it with a screwdriver. Upon further research, I've read the fan doesn't turn on just because of the A/C is turned on. It takes many things into consideration like ambient temp, etc. It also comes on when the engine temp reaches 212 F. So I'll have to do more tests to see if it's working properly.

Run 12 volts to the connector.

Ran 12 volts to it straight from the battery. Fan motor didn't sound smooth and the wires heated up real fast. Removed fan and small parts fell out of fan housing. Time to replace.
