Default 94 discovery 1 fuel problem

I just bought the discovery 1 that was sitting for 3 years. Just had a new fuel pump installed befor i bought it. Iran 2 tanks of fuel threw it and now after its running and shut it off it won't start! If i try again a few hrs later it starts up and runs fine until i shut it off. Then same thing happens... Its not getting fuel. Just figured i pick your brains before bringing it somewhere because i am mechanicaly inclined! Im just use to working on samurais and new to land rovers.
Any help is appreciated. I need to get it fixed for Saturday when i get my 4 month old daughter
Thanks

Well, when it does this do you still have fuel pressure at the schrader valve on the right side fuel rail? About 32-34 PSI. Maybe fuel filter (just forward of right rear wheel)? There is a relay that runs the pump also. You can download the shop manual, called the RAVE.

Also check for spark. There is an ignition "amplfier" module that can go bad and then no spark.

After looking at it in the daylight... Turned out the fuel pump connection had corrosion on it! Cleaned it up an fired right up!
Thanks for all the info!
