95 Discovery transfer case
The linkage to my transfer case was not engaging. Went underneath and sprayed it w/ lubricant and was able to turn transfer switch back and forth. Jacked up front wheel and wheel turned free no matter which position switch is in. I take it that this means the transfer case is not in gear. Am I correct? What suggestions do you have? Thanks in advance. You guys have helped me out multiple times already. One other question. My manual shows to use ATF fluid for manual transmission. Is that what everyone is using also?

First, you should have an indicator light come on on the cluster and or, if you slowly try to turn a tight circle the front end tires will chirp while binding up.
As for the not shifting, you may have to pull the console so you can get down to the t/case shift levers pivot and clean it out good before packing it with some grease.
