Yea it's an 89. The one I had for sale a few months ago.

For all you RRC guys looking to delete ABS:

If you are going to the junk yard or shopping eBay here are the parts you'll want to grab:

Master cylinder / booster unit.
The spacer plate behind the booster unit (glued on the fire wall) or make your own. Looks like this:

If you can I'd grab at least the lines from the master cylinder to the calipers. But you can make the others work. The feed for the right front caliper gets split to feed the single rear line.

The pressure release valve located on the passenger side inner fender. Or you can use a universal adjustable unit from someplace like Summit.


The singe inlet T on the rear axle. Non ABS uses only one line for the rear. Whereas the ABS system uses two. You can plug the other line in the T or just eliminate it w the single inlet T.

Aside from the lines themselves all the other brake stuff is the same. So it's a bolt in deal once it's plumbed.
