ac/heater problem... anybody..... help!

Default ac/heater problem... anybody..... help!

2000 disco 2 100k... so ac and heat work fine except that when i have it on cold/ac and on floor or vent/floor the passenger side (only the floor vents) blows hot air the upper vents blow the correct temp same with the driver side vents and floor vents???? any one ever have a problem like this?

Dampers not operating as they should. The HVAC design depends on the various damper vents moving to correct positions to seal off the air flow thru the heater core. There is no on/off valve, the coolant is always flowing in there.

Also could be that cooling system in front (radiator) is not doing a 100% job, and the heater core is hotter than normal.

Don't depend on heat gauge, it will show center normal fom 130-240F Use a scanner on the OBDII port to be sure.
