I recently purchased a 1999 Range Rover. Shortly after, I noticed that there was water leaking on my foot by the brake pedal, whenever I had the AC on. Now, the AC does not work at all. I am wondering if anyone has an idea as to what could be the problem/how to resolve it. Thanks!

 

Condensation drain(s) could be plugged up, causing the overflow. But they are unlikely to cause total failure of entire AC system. There have been posts about fluid leaking on to blower fan motor and taking it out. When you say AC does not work, could you be more specific?

 

You have plugged up a/c drains underneath the vehicle by the transmission, it is a dumb design, but they trap leaves and debris and allow it to back up,
as far as a/c not working, Im guessing a bad blower relay, back fed system and blew it, change your pollen filters too, they can cause the blower motor to overheat and burn your fusebox, Let me know if I can help more

The blower works, but the air coming out is not cool, like it should be.

 

OK. So.... sounds like low refrigerant would be the next suspect.

 

Is the compressor kicking on?
