Default ACE Issue

I just picked up a 2000 Disco and it has most of the common problems with it. I am going to fix the problems my self. My question is it looks like this one was converted to springs already does this affect my ACE system or will it still work properly.

That is a good question. While I don't know that answer, or really very many others, the set of factory shop manuals is contained in the link below, called the RAVE. It has a pretty complete description of operation of the individual components.

Springs or SLS makes no difference, all ACE DII's still had springs on the front and the ACE worked fine.
