Air suspension calibration with lift rods?
New here to the Land Rover world! Just purchased my first Land Rover LR3 a few weeks ago. I'm changing out the front air struts and adding Johnson Rods. I also purchased the Gap G3 tool from Lucky8. My question is should I install the new air struts, calibrate and then install the lift rods or can the system be calibrated with the lift rods installed???
I would install the new bags first. Not sure what calibration is all about. Is the idea to be sure the front and rear are at the same heights or is the rear supposed to be higher. If you were a few mm off from standard I don't think that would be a big deal. I just bought a 2008 LR3 to replace my P38 offroader so I will be learning a few things myself.
