Blown head gasket
I have a 1997 Land Rover Discovery.
I was driving my Land while it was overheating. When i finally pulled over the car was so hot that it wouldnt start. I was driving with broken radiator cap. I replaced the radiator cap.
Everything was oka after that for a little while. The land started to overheat again. This time there was a lot of white smoke coming out of my my tail pipe. I was told by someone who checked under my hood that have blown a head gasket.
I cant aford a head gasket job. and dont know enough to do it myself. There is a solution called Therogasket that cost about $100.00. Would this product work and has anyone heard of it.

RE: Blown head gasket
Why did you not pull right of the road, why did you go drive it again? Yes, it has at the least a blown head gasket, possible cracked head and or possible dropped sleeve.
The magic brew you have mentioned won't work because of the possibility of a cracked head or dropped sleeve.
You have to have the heads pulled, you have no other way to go.

Yea....bad move on driving it while over heating.....
You're stuck....gotta pull the heads. Even if you were to try the gasket magic stuff, what's going to stop if from just blowing right thorugh just like the coolant? Maybe if you had tried that right at the beginning...but now...head gasket job.
