Hello everyone,
currently I reconditioned the fuel pump on my 300tdi discovery 1.
There was a low grade boost pin installed, which was worn out, something I didn’t knew was there.
The mechanic replaced it with an original one, apart from other parts.
I drove the car after this reconditioning and didn’t see much of a difference.
Does the boost pin really work ?
Or because it was worn out it wasn’t functioning as it should be ?
Because I was thinking if I would install a good grade boost pin/boost kit or not.
