Brake ?
I took mt 2002 Discovery to the dealer to check my squeeking brakes, he said my rear pads were 1 mm ( I think) and I needed pads and rotors. Does that sound right? Is it common to replace rotors with break pads on Land Rovers? He would be happy to do this for $603.00. Any advise would be great. If its against the rules to post price , sorry I will edit the post.
Thanks,
Stephen

if youre down tp 1mm, and the rotors had a lip, then you were probably metal to metal on the lip. anyway, yeah, its a soft rotor, thats why they cant be turned, too soft, and they go decently quick. general rule is every other set of pads, youll need rotors
For me, this is the time to get a better rotor and pads. It may cost a little but I think getting a good rotor and pad will last longer.
