Default Brake pad replacements

I have 2003 discovery, I would like opinion on brakes and difficulty in doing. I do the brakes on f150 and change all fluids etc.
What I would like to know is the difficulty in doing on landrover?
Is this a job I can order brake pads and do? Should I be looking into manuals?
Any Tips?
Thanks for any thoughts on this subject.

Replacing the brakes and or rotors is easy, the tricky part is finding the right pads that will last and stop well without throwing the 3 Amigos. Consider the Akebono ceramic pads as the better way to go. By the way, how many miles on your truck, have the rotors ever been replaced? And don't forget to do a full 2 quart DOT 4 brake flush when done.

LR has 80,000 miles.
I was going to look at rotors once I replaced pads. I understand it would be best practice to address both. Is resurfacing an option or better to replace.
I read your post on 3 Amigos and enjoyed.
I have no education on automotives (Listen to Cartalk) but enjoy working and understanding anything mechanical.
I have done brakes /rotors, brake line on 1998 f150. Continually work on 1989 evenrude 150 – including replacing hydraulics, solenoids re-built carb. I have run into issues but outcome has been successful.
This would be the 1st job attempted on LR besides oil / filters changes. Possible I am fearful of English engineers.
It does sound like this job can be easily accomplished?

Is just as simple as the brakes on my F250. The RAVE shop manual is a handy reference, and a free download. Of course we can hope for Valentine's Day that SWMBO will give us that 72 inch flat screen for the garage, where we can view the RAVE with ease. I'd be in the replace rather than resurface camp.

Thank you,
I did look at manual and job looks straight forward. But I did start a puzzle 6 months ago rated for ages 10 and up and still not done. haha

Side - question, Any recommendation on rotors / brake pads or reliable site. I did do some research and price ranges are extreme. 50 - 200?

I already mentioned the Akebono pads, can't get any better.
Front Rotors are a EUR676 and the rears are an EUR494 and can be found on Amazon of E-Bay for the best prices.
