Red face Broken O2 plug connector (HELP!!!)

Please help I've searched all over and can't find any info on a broken O2 connector plug. I have a P0130 code and switched both front sensors. Still getting the P0130 code. before changing both sensors noticed that driver side front sensor was drenched with oil. even in the inside of the plug. The orange plug casing was cracked and wires exposed to all that oil. I cleaned it with terminal connection cleaner sprayed with WD40 cleaned it up. And installed the two sensors. Even switched the sensors. Sensors good but no reading on driver side. How can I remedy this problem. I might sound stupid but can i splice and weld a new connector? Do I need a new harness? Any input would be greatly appreciated

You can try and take the connector apart and then re-wire it.
You can go to a junk yard and pull the harness off of a salvaged truck.
Or you can get a hold of these guys.
www.roverlandparts.com
Or talk to your dealer about buying a new harness, I have no idea where it plugs into on the truck side, but you will want to replace the whole harness, if you dont you may get a O2 code still.
O2's are very ohm resistance sensitive.
If you splice the wires the resistance will be wrong so you are taking a 50/50 chance of the splice working or not.
