Angry Broken screw in rear license plate insert

so the insert (nut) for the license plate bracket was free spinning last time i took the plate off of my 2003 disco. I was trying to get the screw out when it broke off and is now stuck in the free spinning insert. I would say it is done and needs to be replaced. Looking for help on how to find this part and how to replace it.

Sounds like you need to either replace the license plate bracket. Can you get the plate of the bracket?

Its not the bracket it is the insert that is in the actual tailgate. The insert that the bracket screws into.

You need to remove the insert. Installed a new nutsert. I don't remember if a screw or bolt holds the frame. Old Range Rover Classics, I use a nutsert.

Or use these for the screw with plastic insert.
