Default Can someone help me figure out this error?

PO 340 camshaft position sensor a circuit (bank 1 or single sensor)

I plugged in a code reader for a check engine light and got this code...
any idea what is causing the sensor to trip?

First, get rid of the green print, standard black is preferred.
As for the fault code, what is your truck doing or not doing? If the cam shaft sensor fails it will limit your power, engine can loose location of number 1 cylinder.
It is very rare for this to happen in a Rover.

sorry 'bout the green.. i hadn't noticed til you said something

I just have a check engine light on...
the truck is not acting up which is leading me to believe it is just a sensor gone bad.. but I wanted another so i didn't accidentally mask a problem that should be addressed
