I have a 2000 LR2 and when I originally bought it at 109,000 Mi I would put the vehicle in neutral and I would hear a notification beeping sound and then I was able to switch to low gear. Now all of a sudden when I put it in neutral I don't hear a beeping sound and I cannot switch to low gear. I have no flashing lights or codes popping up. I can also switch into all gears with no problems. The little red light on the shifter lights up while in neutral but doesn't light up while it's in reverse. The N shows up on my dashboard next to my odometer and it rolls and drives fine in neutral and all the other gears.
