Default Changing transmission

So I'm swaping transmission and transfer case in a 2000 land rover. The man doing it said we needed 13 to 14 quarts of transmission fluid. And grease for the transfer case. Does that sound right?

Probably closer to 7 quarts for the transmission 2 quarts of 75-90 gear oil for the transfer box if memory serves.

Could be wrong it's been awhile

Info from RR WM:
Automatic gearbox
4.6 V8 up to ’99MY............................................. ..... 11 litres 23.2 US pints
4.0 V8 (& 4.6 V8 from ’99MY) ................................. 9.7 litres 20.5 US pints
Diesel .................................................. .................... 9.7 litres 20.5 US pints
Transfer box
From dry .................................................. ................ 2.4 litres 5.0 US pints
Refill .................................................. ...................... 2.0 litres 4.2 US pints
Info from D2 WM:
Automatic gearbox fill from dry
19.7 pt
Transfer box:
⇒ Refill 4.1 pt
⇒ Fill from dry 4.8 pt
The man was close if fluid drained from torque converter and allowing for some overflow/spillage during servicing. Better to estimate on the high side and use/charge less unless done on a regular basis.
