Computer Analaysis Troubleshooting (Shuttle Valve)
I own a series II (S) 2003, had ABS, TC and Hill Descent lights appear on dash - computer analysis stated it was the shuttle valve.
I was told to replace aftermarket brakes with genuine parts. When this didn't fix the problem I was told a shuttle valve rebuild was my first step.
After the rebuild the lights kept coming on, had it looked at a second time, computer still saying its a shuttle valve issue. Now I have been told to do the solenoid... they also said that if this doesn't fix the problem then I am up for an ABS modulator.
Am I getting the run around? Has anyone else had this issue before?

dear god, did you actually get a response from a dealer or an actual land rover independant, not some guy who owns an import shop.
Sorry but the shuttle valve failure means the electric part of the modulator for about a grand. but there is a cheaper way to do the job. just look up the disco two section.
