Truck stalls with a rattling noise when starting at mornings typically. It takes about two minutes before the gears start to transition smoothly. (i notice that if i give enough gas in neutral - the problem goes away in a couple of minutes)
+ All the lights now seem to be on.
Took it to a mechanic - and got a shockingly long list of codes.
P0733, P0171, P0174, P1590, P1300, P0303, P0301, P0305, P0307, P1319

Have no idea what suddenly caused this.

Sure, but curious, how long it had a tune up including wires?

 

i get the regular oil changes/services etc done but the - got a couple of belts changed etc but the engine/transmission has probably not been looked at for a while.
i was intending to get a 90k service done - but the mechanic ( not a land rover expert) suggested that i figure out what the diagnosis is before investing in the service.

 

You have an idiot for a mechanic and appear to be lacking in good general engine maintance.

not very, i am afraid. give myself 4 on 10.
so do you suggest that i take it to a mechanic who could do engine maintenance?
