Default Driving with an injector unplugged?

I am on the road, my destination isvabout 600 miles away all highway. I am having a cylinder 5 miss fire on my 4.4 v8 lr3, but only when I'm at idle. Should I unplug the injector and ignition coil? When I get to my destination I will take it to a shop, but I'd rather not stop now. Will it hurt to drive it since when I'm driving on the highway there isn't a miss fire? I already checked the plug and ignition coil, all is well there. Any other tips are appreciated!

You should not unplug them and you should not continue driving with the misfire.

You could end up frying a cat on that bank and what would have been a $100-$200 fix will now be a $2000 fix.

You think it runs bad with the a misfire wait till you see how it runs with a completely dead cylinder.

Don't do it, fix the fault.
