Default Electrical mysteries on RRC 1988

Hello all - Looking forward to some input from the group!

My 1988 Range Rover Classic has a number of fun brain busters, but the one that I can't figure out is this: The radio cuts out when I push the gas pedal down when it's cold. The second I let off the gas the radio comes back on. BUT it only does that until the vehicle warms up (about 2-3 miles of driving). Another sign it warms up is when I have the heat on to fan setting #2, it will blow somewhat hard until it warms up...then it slows down a bit and blows warmer air. Right at that moment, the radio works perfectly and the gas pedal + radio issue is gone.

Fuses have all been gone through. Battery is new within the last month. Alternator was checked by my local mechanic...but I don't 100% trust that's not the issue. Grounding issue? Voltage regulator issue?

Sometimes the wipers will cut out as well, but to solve that I just flip the fan to 2 or 3 (full blowing) and the wipers work again. Some wacky stuff! Any and all ideas are welcome, thank you!

Jordon

Solved

One of the main ground cables was broken off. Alternator was also pushing way too much to the battery and killed two batteries before I found the fix. New ground cable, new alternator and new battery and all the electrical is running top shape finally!
