Default Flashing the green S and M lights

My 2003 Disco with 40,000 miles is flashing the green S and M lights and the shift indicatoris flashing. Any ideas of what the problem may be would be great.

get a new battery, or its the position switch monitoring on the trans..take it to advance to check the codes..that should tell you the problem..

When the lights flash green, this indicates that there is an electrical problem with the tranny, if it comes back on after a restart go directly to the dealer to prevent any additional damage, that is right out of the owners manual.

yeah check the battery. mine did the same. found out my negative cable had came loose.

If not that, don't drive it other then getting it to the shop.
Do you have an owners manual, if so it would be a good idea to read up on your truck for future issues.
