My front passenger door locked me out, wouldn't unlock at all. It's been in a Land Rover garage for almost 2 weeks now, they've replaced the lock 3 times, each time they shut the door it locks them out again.

The auto electrician said there's a fault somewhere in the wiring, so after lots of work, they disconnected all the electric supply to the lock. It worked fine from inside, but the minute they put 'the bits' back to send it home to me it locked them out again!!!

They said they've done hundreds of TD5s and never seen this problem before. The door's not dropped, and they've checked everything they could think of.

Has anyone ever seen and resolved this problem before? I just want my car back and to be able to open the thing It's a 1999 Discovery TD5.
