Default Front Passenger Door Wont Unlock...

I hardly ride w/ any passengers so Im not sure what/when it occurred, but the front passenger door is no longer responsive to the lock/unlock power function via the key or the button on the interface(console). If i pull it up manually while in the locked position it goes back down. I have to pull the door handle from the inside in order to unlock it. My gut tells me its not an easy fix for someone like myself. Any Thoughts or advice? Thanks

Mine does the same thing. I think it's the lock actuator but I haven't got around to fixing it. I need to cause I hate having to leave my wife standing outside while I get in and have to open it from inside.

yep, door lock actuator. They're about $100 used. I took my old one out but haven't replaced it yet. It's kind of a PITA cause it's really tight in the door.

You can open the door lock actuator and replace the little motor inside it.
It will set you back about $5 at Radio Shack.
Just make sure that you get a high speed motor.
Take your old on in with you and have them match it up.
Solder the new one back in, hook up the gears and you are good to go.
