Default GAP Tool Issue downloading ECU Flash files Rover LR3 LR4

Trying my first ECU refresh to update the trans and find modules. Paid for the fast lane services x2, sent ECU Info email to GAP and got a return email about files and how to flash. All is good. Open the Updater App on my Mac and see the "Program Flash File Only" button is now there. All is well to this point. When I click it asks for confirmation, then it says erasing module as its LED turns green. Then in a couple seconds it says the extra files have been programed correctly and that's that. Nothing shows up in the phone app in the ECU refresh. GAP Says they did not get any feedback from the updater which they usually do - assuming they mean what someone transfers flash files they get some behind the scenes confirmation the user did the ECU file transfer to the tool. I did disable my firewall to see if it would help. Reboots, etc also.

So I dig up an old PC, get the updater app installed. Works, but no option to update the ECU flash files, just the "PROGRAM FIRMWARE", which seems to be the main firmware of the device itself. It even says its already installed and asks if I want to re-write it on the device.

So basically it does not work. And what appears to be the issue should you come across the same? Well my registration email, which I used on my main computer, was not from the same email as the ECU Info email I sent to GAP after the purchase of the services (I used my phone to send the ECU Info list). But the bigger issue in my case was that apparently long ago I did register with GAP using that email on my phone. So while everything appears to be VIN based and my phone email has no tool registered to it, nothing at all actually, they assigned the files to that account. But the Tool still works at a basic level with the VIN it seems, so it could "see" that there were ECU flash files to get but there was an error in the data cause of the emails.

So... if ya ever run across this issue, that may be it. Make sure you send the ECU info list from the same registration email. An error on my end led to an error on their end. Will be fixed Monday.
