Default Garage Clearance

Happy Turkey Day people

So I want to life my 2004 D2 and I have a quandary. I would like to be able to lift my D2 yet still pull it into the garage.

My garage has 81.5" of clearance. As my D2 stands today it is 76.5 inches tall. Im happy with a 40 mm (about 1.5inch) lift.

My D2 has the original 12 year old springs.

So here is my question:
How do I figure out how large a tire I can add on and still clear my garage??

Thanks in advance.

Install the lift and remeasure. Then use a tire size calculator to determine what you can fit
