So... i'm rebuilding my LT230. In effort to NOT do it again, i'm looking for advice on methods for gaskets. the kit i have ICV100000 has Ferolite India?s No. 1 Manufacturer of Non Asbestos Gasket Jointing Sheets, Rope, Textile Materials, PTFE Thread Seal Tape, Non Asbestos Gland Packing Company, Gasket Sheet Suppliers, Gasket Sheet Exporter, gasket packing sheet gaskets for all the sealing surfaces. It's a green coated fibrous material. In prior experience I've used RTV (or the likes) for plain paper gaskets or non coated gaskets. Hylomar is great for metal to metal applications as well.

Asking the web-brain-trust... what would you prefer on the green coated gaskets... use a small smear of rtv sealant / hylomar / or none ???
