Default Help with brakes!

Hello All,

I changed the pads on all 4 of the brakes on my 08 LR3 today and now they are super soft and not really working. I have never seen this in the dozen or so brakes I have done on other cars?? I used one of those pumps to pull a suction, but I didn't feel like it was working corectly. I feel like I need to get a better bleed, but not sure how? Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Thanks!

If you attach a 1/4" clear hose to the bleeder on a caliper and run it down into a jar of brake fluid deep enough to submerge the end of the hose. Starting at the wheel farthest from the master cylinder and progressively getting closer. Depress the pedal with 10 hard applications or until no bubbles seen in line. Close bleeder and go on to next wheel.Keep an eye on your master cylinder so it does not go dry.
