My idle has been a bit higher when I go back into park, 1K vs 700
sorry 2014 RRsport, v8 sc
usually when it's really hot out like 90+
I'm just guessing but cooling sensor? TPS? IDK.

Turn the AC off and see if the idle comes down. It may be kicking the idle up to accommodate the increased load of the AC.

I gave your suggestion a try and yes, shutting the ac off dropped the rpm back to normal.
Whats the fix ?

 

Most likely not broken. Just the truck compensating for the increased load of the AC
