Default I just bought a Defender 110 300TDI and I need some info

Hello. I recently bought a Land Rover Defender 110 300TDI. I would like to get know some general information about the vehical. Such as maintance and stuff.
Also can someone explain to me properly what the differences are between the gearbox settings. I'm a newbie. Also could someone link me to a copy of a user manual if such a thing exists since I couldnt find anything on the internet. Thanks

The little gear stick is for the transfer case, in normal driving it should be over to the right and pulled back towards the cubby box.
When you want to hit the trails you pull the lever over to the left to engage the center difflock in the transfer case (dirt road use only), for steep ascents/descents push the lever towards the dash (this must be done at standstill in neutral or clutch depressed ).
When the difflock is engaged you will have an orange symbol on the dash that has 4 wheels in a H pattern.
