Default Indicator light meaning

There is an indicator light in the upper left hand side of my Disco II instrument panel. It looks like the front and rear axles with the tires on them with a line connecting them with an X with a circle around it. The owners manual describes pretty much every other indicator light except this one... Go figure.. I have the 3 amigo thing going on, but this is on as well. Just bought this 2001 Disco II, with the engined replaced with one that has 78K miles. runs great... Can't figure out what this indicator light means. Can one of you more experienced guys help out a newbie?

Thanks
Greg

That would be transfer case in CDL? But depending on year the dealer may have done this with a wrench if you don't have the CDL lever. Unlock CDL if you have it, should only drive on snow or dirt with this, not pavement, makes extra stress on driveline components. See attached page from owners manual, the whole thing and tech manuals are called the RAVE and available for free download.

Now if someone removed one of your drive shafts, they would have to do this to get truck to move.....

An easy test for your to perform would be to go to a large parking lot and very slowly, turn as tight a circle as you can, if the steering wheel feels lurchy the your CDL has been locked up and should be unlocked, if not it is electrical and should be investigated/repaired.

Flux Capacitor is low on flux. Won't be able to travel back in time without it.

Oh, and welcome to the forums!
