Good morning. I’m a new member of the forum. I need help please. I lost my spare key to my evoque 2016. Went to landrover dealer and bought one for 272 euros. It arrived after 2 weeks but the key didn’t work. So they said we Might need to program it. I waited for 2 hours and the technician said.... we have to update the car software for the new key. Is this correct? Thanks.

 

yes that is correct. It's the only way to sync the key to the car.
