Landrover series help
I aquired a series landrover 6 months ago and as of yet have been unable to get the brakes to be of any use what so ever
there is no air in the system, its been bled and bled and bled again ,, its been pressure bled , vaccuum bled jacked up at the rear and bled jacked up at the front and bled, infact its been bledevery which way but loose.
if I clamp off the rear brake hose which supplies the rear ,I get a fantastic pedal, without it I have to pump the pedal a few times to get a pedal, ( I know your going to say its got air in the rear , but it hasn't )
I have investigated this a bit more and it looks like the rear wheel cylinders are the same as the front , now I thought that the rear ones were of a smaller bore , if so could ths be the problem due to more fluid bein needed to push the pistons out,
does anyone know if the rears are of a smaller bore
or am I clutching at straws here
