Mine works as Spike555 said. On until 5mph. This way you can rock crawl etc without the abs kicking in. Once over 5mph the systems activated. I had an intermittent light problem that I ignored until I wasted a front knuckle. Check for seepage around both front knuckles and maybe even top-off if you end up purchasing. Replacement was expensive. Hope this helps

This is absolutely 1000000% FALSE!!
Without the ABS pump fuse the ABS pump WILL NOT WORK and you will have normal brakes.
WITH the ABS pump fuse installed WHEN the ABS pump acts up you WILL not have brakes and you WILL not beable to stop.

BUT you must pull the under hood fuse NOT the under dash fuse.

Savannah meant the same thing as you Spike. It was just a typo. :P But generally this will work out fine, just got to get the fuse out of under the hood, and just check for any brake fluid leaks. One of my BMWs had a brake fluid leak and it was bad, driving it was pretty sketchy, as it would "pulsate," when you apply the brakes. So same should go with anything else. So once that fuse it out, back to the good ol' days of make sure not to lock them up in case of a close call.

I may be picking something up this weekend, but I found one that I may like as well. So I will be checking it out on Friday and see what's up. It's that really nice dark olive green color, and that is absolutely my favorite color on any Discovery. So we'll see what goes, but I assume it may be a '95 or '96.
