Mainly the pump, sometimes it eats up the front cover, depends on how long it runs with the bad pump. Land Rover says replace the entire engine if this happens. They don't know, or wont tell if the block, or the cover is machined wrong.
i talked to L.R tech line a couple weeks ago, they could not give me an answer. If it was my car I would rebuild the pump and test fit the cover, maybe put it on without the dowels. If I can get ahold of a good cover, and a bad one to compare the two, probably could figure something out...
