Hi TC, HDC failure, and ABS lights came on on my dash.It happensall at once. My breaks were making some noise so I new I needed to fix that. when this lights came on is when I desided to fix the break thinking the at leat the ABS light would go away, but it did not. Whell I have the manual of this truck, and I have red about this HDC failure and found that when the HDC fails normally you will get the ABS, and the TC light on,

It is a LR2 discover II and it says west minister on that back
anyone out there that can advice me?

First of all, the trio being on has nothing to do with Hill Decent.
It was your noise brake that tripped the lights. How many miles on your truck, did you change out the pads and rotors if so what brand?
You will need to take your truck to a shop that has a scanner that cane read and clear the faults,m if you are lucky they may stay off, if not they will come back then it is parts time.
By the way when you did your brakes, did you bleed the brake system and did you use sound deadening material on the back of the brake pads?

I got this truck March 07 with 45,000 miles. I only put 5,000 miles in 8 months. So it has 50,000 miles and I am about to do completemaitenance service.
it is LR Dicov II West Minister 2002. the minute I sow it I fall in love with it, I always dream on own a truck like this since I was a kid. I know for the payments (423.00&100.00 insurance)that I am doing with this truck I could gotten may be a new car, but did not care I just love it I only drive it on the weekend. know I just need to take good care of it, I got the manual and Iam reading it. Mike you just made my day about the lights I thought itwas something mayor, but it made sense what you said, because the breaks weremaking noise and needed to be fixed, and yes the mechanic change the pads and sendall 4disks to rectify them. yes he did bleed them and use that materia in the back of the pads.

Are you saying your mechanic resurfaced your rotors, if so, this is a huge NO NO.
