My LR3 first stalled when I had a hard on break while going down a slope. Restarted the engine and all seemed fine. Stalled again as I was climbing the hill. Once again re-started and all was fine. Drove for more than 500km without a slight challenge. Following day it would go off at idle when ever you break after reversing. Took it to land rover after the throttle couldn't intermitently react. Now the engine cranks but not starting, land rover say they have to look at it again after a week. Anybody who had a similar experience and as to what it could be, please share?

 

Fuel shutoff solenoid shutting off fuel supply due to low oil pressure at idle...?

Just a guess, since I have never worked on a diesel LR.
