Default My Ball(joint)s are frozen (03 D2)

I had a bugger of a time but successfully removed drive shaft and hub carrier.

Next step is to remove the ball joints from the axle. I bought a ball joint tool online but it's woefully inadequate. Seems these kits never contain all the right fittings needed.

My upper ball joint is frozen. I've sprayed it. Tapped it. And tied to use the press in an awkward fashion, but can't get the bugger to budge.

Any tips to unfreeze my ***** would be helpful.

Use a very hot butane torch to heat up and expand the spindle hub that the ball joints are pressed in.
