need you guys help
Hi,
There are 2 plugs on the rear of the t-box on the driver's side, one for drain and one for filling. They have a 1/2 square drive hole to use your 1/2 ratchet to open. They require dextron/mercon III for fluid, fill until it runs out of the fill hole

Rover up graded their oil requirement to either a 75 to 90W gear oil or the 85/140W.
You might want to consider do a full service on this truck if it is new for you.
Also, check the magnetic drain plugs for chunks of metal and lube your drive shafts.

Disco Mike is absolutley right about doing the full service on the rig especially if it is new to you.
I just checked on this because Mike had me wondering, as of today the t-box oil spec is still ATF dexron III ( From official website as of today for the p38 t-box ). I have seen people using gear oil and the fill plug definitley is big enough, but the spec is ATF. I have no experience to say to use gear oil, but i will say I have never had an issue with the spec fuild.
