No start

Default No start

I have a 96 Disco 1 all new parts sensors etc,had an oil change done,new steering stabilizer put on,got it washed,ran great this morning tried starting,doesn't fire no spark and fuel just guzzled from fuel rail,anyone got any ideas? I just picked it up from being in shop 3 weeks

Check the little pushbutton on your passenger firewall. Make sure it is pushed down. After that, shift throught gears and try.

I would take it back to the shop or at least call them to see what they think.

its an ign problem, could be coils, or power to them, or control side of it, crank sensor or ecm... what cyls did you check for spark on? does your check engine light turn off when cranking? have you disconected the batt recently or has it died?inertia switch kills fuel, youre looking at a sensor, ecu, immobilization resync, entire coil set (not that likely for all to fail at once) or could just be a fuse

Check the fuses. If they're all good, my money is on the crank position sensor.

Well tried everything to no avail,just waved goodbye to it,back to the shop again

well ends up it's the ignition switch,but on a scarier note,I called AAA to have it towed to my mechanics shop,tow truck driver pulls out a 2 in diam pipe and proceeds to beat on my stater,and gas tank,by the time it got to shop he had bent heat shield against my oxygen sensor,shorting out all my ignition wires when key was on,which he had left on,not a good day
