Default No start saga continues...

I am at wits end with the turtle(late 1996 disco Gems). Last week I drive to the park with my kids. The truck starts and drives perfect. Get to the park, lock the doors, come back 2 hours later and the truck refuses to turn on the fuel pump to start the truck. I can hear injectors and relays, but no fuel pump. I fiddle around with it for a couple of hours (all the normal stuff like tip over switch, eka code, swap relays...) I get no where. Time to call AAA. Get her home and like I flipped a switch, she fires right up... At this point I'm thinking Lucas is somewhere with a camera on me laughing so hard he's is crying. This week has been ok. I have gone all week with no issues until last night. I have not locked the truck all week, runs and starts no problem. Well last night I was driving to the store and accidently hit the driver door lock with my elbow. I really did not think anything of it. Well I should have turned around and drove back home. I ended up turning the truck off and walking in the store, only to come back to a truck that wont turn the fuel pump on again. All injectors are running, the truck turns over quite well, but no friggen fuel pump power. I have tried everything. I am desperate an in need of real advice.

Well if the fuel pump won't run, it may be on its way out. They are notorious for failure.

Take a look at this thread......

Ok got it figured out. The driver door alarm sensor went bad. So I took the door card off and unplugged it. Did the eka code and off I go. Now I am able to lock the doors (no alarm, but who cares right?). So if anyone is having intermittent no start issues, this may be the answer.
