Default O2 system still not ready.

Changed all 4 sensors about 1500 - 1800 miles ago. I had no codes then, but I had the top end off for hg....figured easy access.
Battery has not been disconnected since....
I go to get inspected (several times) I am told o2 and cat system not ready. Am I missing something? An issue would show code fosho? 3-400 miles maybe, but at nearly 2k I have to think something is amiss.
Any ideas?

Are there any pending codes on the UG? I've read that could be it, You have definitely put enough miles on it, but I'm wondering if there isn't some part of the drive cycle missing?

I know there is a drive cycle for readiness. I found this one for Toyotas...

http://forum.ih8mud.com/attachments/di-70-1996-fsm-pdf.673704/

Someone on another forum said this worked for their LR4

Start engine, let idle for approx. 2 min, 10 secs.

Accelerate to 20-30 MPH, Maintain steady speed for approx 3 min, 15 secs.

Accelerate to 40-60 MPH, Maintain steady speed for approx 15 mins.

Decelerate and come to a stop. Then:

Idle in Neutral for 5 mins. (manual trans.)

Idle in Drive for 5 mins. (Tiptronic trans.)

During the drive cycle, do not exceed 3,000 rpm or 60 mph.

This is the "BMW" drive cycle, but it works equally well on 993's and if done properly does not require a second drive cycle.

just wondering if ultra gauge did not pick it up but a real OBDII scanner does, and it appears so.
I assume you have already cleaned and re-made all your 02 connections with dielectric grease and all that obvious stuff.

do you get readings from all of them on the OBDII scanner?

i would think you would get codes of the rear 02's, if it were a cat problem.

Well I did a scan this morning. Looking for the "system not ready" display. It's still there, but I also have some pendies. Never showed before now. Still, though, it could be keeping me in not ready mode......I guess

P1172 & p1175
So I'm getting unmetered air. Has to be post maf, correct?
Leaves me with bad maf.....solution = I have a brand new Bosch in the spares
Or vacuum leak.....find it fix it. But I have a question. Could it be a leak at injector seal, also?
