Default Oil cooler lines

hello all... I have 2001 disco and have had to replace my radiator a couple of times for various reasons. I removed the oil cooler lines from the cooler in order to take out the radiator. Upon replacing the lines into the metal tubes I thought I heard the clips "click" into place. Apparently not because three times now over about a year one of the sides has popped off spewing oil all over front of engine and ground!
My question is, do the lines need to be replaced because the clips aren't meant to be used again, or is it okay to re-use the lines and clips. They feel like and sound like they click on but then I'll be driving and lose all oil.
Thank you for time and ideas!

I had the same problem after replacing the radiator in mine. Heard a click and everything, or so I thought. Just like you said shot oil everywhere. Re connected, heard the same click and even gave it a slight pull. Next day blew off the transmission line riding down the road. Stopped at a hydraulic shop on the way home got 4 brass union fittings and 4 ft of hose (I think it was 5/8, 4 ft was more than enough). Cut off the push fit couplings, cut the hose that I needed and used some hose clamps to hold it. So far so good no more leaks. Been holding up for almost a year now.

Awesome. May have to give that a shot. Thanks for the quick response.

The best way i found to get the hose on is to heat it up, with like a heat gun or blow dryer and while it's hot slid it on. Don't forget the clamps just added insurance. if you remove the battery box and air filter box it will give you more room.

Yeah I may have to just replace the clamp style with a better design. Each tim they've come off I have pushed back on and pulled back like I was trying to pull them off. Couldn't pull them off but when driving the next hour or day...all of a sudden off it comes. Been good for about a month now but that's about it.
