Hi,
The gear shifter center console backlights (P, R ,D, etc..) remain on and overnight and anytime it's parked with no key in ignition. The LOW side (amber) seems to do the opposite of dimming, like getting brighter. It is draining the battery overnight and even during the day when it's parked. I pulled the fuse #1 for instrument pack/clock/radio/center console from fuse box beneath the front passenger seat, looked, and light is still on. Photo attached.
Do I need to leave the fuse out for the "16 minute period" to allow the rest of the Becm 'go to sleep'? Is There another remedy?
Any help is greatly appreciated as I am I new owner.
