I disconnected my battery today, and when I reconnected it, started the car, the Radio displays "CODE" and won't play. Is there some code i'm soppused to put in?

 

So you are saying you don't have your radio security code.
Go to your lock dealers service department and see if they can still get your number from Rover, if they can, you are i luck, if they can't it will be near impossible to recode your radio.

 

how any digits to the code? i have from written down from previous owner. it is six digits.

 

If its the factory radio the dealership should be able to get it based of the VIN number. I was able to get mine over the phone. As for the number of digits mines only 5.

 

I had the same issue yesterday. I just called the local dealer and gave them the last 8 of the VIN and they gave me the code.
