Rear Windows blowing fuses on DII
my 30 amp fuse on the rear windows blows as soon as the ignition is turned on. this happens whether the center console switch to over ride the rear windows is on or off.
i'm about to go digging in the RAVE to trace out the power flow so i can start pinning it down. thought i'd post this to see if anybody had experience to point me in the right direction.
thanks

alright, i've got it down to the gray and white wire that runs from the center console switch to the rear switch. it is grounded.
i've checked to most obvious place, the door hinge and all looks fine.
where does the wiring harness go from the door? up into the overhead or down along the ground to the center console?
any help is appreciated so i can get this thing working again.

start by disconnecting the motors one at a time. which ever motor is the problem use that to trace. then run a jumper wire from one wire to the next to eliminate the wire if that is the problem. if neither motor causes the fuse to blow then its a motor problem.
i've already tracked it down to which wire is shorted to ground. motor is not the issue. i just need to know where the wiring harness goes when it leaves the door so i'm not tearing apart parts of my interior that don't need to be to access the wire.
well the problem is not in the door. it's between that point and the center console switch. i don't feel like tearing apart any more of my interior right now so it'll just have to wait. i've got one rear window working again, that'll do for now.
