Default regulator 00 disco

replace right front regulator some time ago - worked but shifted a bit when closing - always wanted to open up and take a second look, but you guys know. started to get a loud glass click when closing and now it goes down about 1 inch and stops then won't seal completely at the top. First thought was to price out window regulators (last from roverland and their stuff has generally served just fine) They are out of rights, so I checked another site and lo and behold - WHAT THE HECK IS A WINDOW REGULATOR CLIP??? Was this the problem? Anybody have a quickie tutorial, b/c maybe I just buy that clip and I can get the old one working.
Thanks all and Merry Christmas / Happy Hanukah / Happy Kwanza - best of the season to all.

Rich,
You may just need to invest a bit of time and remove the door panel to see what's wrong. Could be that clip, but it sounds like the regulator you put in was never completly right... Take a look/see and enlighten us! We are curious!
