Default SAI Pump fan removal

I was continually getting SAI codes so I removed the blower and found it was seized. I drilled out the rivets and removed the cover over the fan but I am not sure if the circular boss holding the fan is a press fit or screwed on, as it is not a regular nut?

Any help would be appreciated as I don't want to destroy it trying to get it off.

I somewhat broke down my SAI pump to that level and it didn't work the same afterwards.
But this SAI rebuild info might help you... https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/s...d-Rebuild-Info

Thanks for the note but unfortunately I could not access the site you gave me.

I did manage to pull of the fan using a small bearing puller with a bolt down the hole in the center of the boss. took a bit of tension and a couple of taps with a hammer before it came loose. Was able to pull the bearing off the motor shaft and it was totally seized so I guess it has been like that for some time. Got a new one for $11 reassemble the unit and at least the SAI pump now runs beautifully. I replaced the hollow rivets with brass mushroom headed bolts and thin nuts with a dab of Loctite just to be sure. Next I discovery was that there was oil in the vacuum canister that bolted on the top of the SAI bracket so I guess the is a leak somewhere in the system!!!!

Thanks
